WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — A Warwick family is feeling lucky to be alive after a massive tree crashed through their home, narrowly missing an 8-year-old’s bed as she was sleeping.
Colleen McKenna, Katherine McKenna, and her daughter Noelle were all home when the tree came crashing down around 3 a.m. on the morning of March 16.
“A huge bang, my room is right next to Noelle’s room, so I ran in there and saw the tree just in her room,” Katherine said. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, is she alive?'”…
