ASHEVILLE – Buncombe County filed a complaint in Superior Court seeking back taxes from the owners of East Asheville’s former Ramada Inn property, which was slated to be transformed into permanent supportive housing and affordable apartments.
The county initiated a foreclosure process March 31, before suspending it shortly after. The county voluntarily dismissed the action April 2.
