NORFOLK, Va. — A Norfolk woman was sentenced Friday to 25 years in prison after a jury convicted her of first-degree murder in the 2023 killing of a disabled roommate, authorities said.
Prosecutors said Kristie Marie Lynch and James Christian Lynch had met Jose Luis Moreno through their church and invited him to live with them in 2022 because he had “nowhere to go.”
