New court filings by Aliza Sherman murder suspect Gregory Moore accuse investigators of withholding evidence, seek to block key information

CLEVELAND — New court filings in the case against Gregory Moore, the man accused of the 2013 murder of Aliza Sherman in Cleveland, are shedding new light on the defense’s strategy — with attorneys arguing they were not given all the evidence and accusing investigators of misleading the court.

Moore’s trial is scheduled for Sept. 14, and he faces the following charges in connection with Sherman’s death:

  • One count of aggravated murder
  • One count of conspiracy
  • Six counts of murder
  • Two counts of kidnapping
