Spartanburg PD debunks Soup Kitchen arrest rumors after recent operation

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) — The Spartanburg Police Department is addressing recent arrests connected with an operation to address ongoing concerns about trespassing, public disorderly conduct and pedestrians in the roadway.

The police department said the operation was done in partnership with members of A Place to Call Home’s HEART Team as part of a continued, balanced approach to addressing quality-of-life concerns and homelessness in our community.
