A Susquehanna Township man raped and strangled a woman to death in their apartment in March before fleeing to Puerto Rico, police said.
Amanda Makor, 25, was found dead and cold to the touch around 11 a.m. March 30 on the bathroom floor of her Progress Avenue apartment, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Susquehanna Township police.
An autopsy found she died from asphyxia caused by multiple traumatic injuries, including strangulation and “massive chest compression.” Her body also showed signs of rape, the affidavit said…
