The National Weather Service released a freeze watch at 11:42 a.m. on Monday valid for Wednesday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Franklin, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York and Lancaster counties.
The weather service informs, “Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 degrees F possible.”
“Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” states the weather service. “Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive crops and other vegetation as a result of the potential sub-freezing temperatures.”
