A motorcyclist was airlifted to Savannah in critical condition after a Saturday evening collision on north-end Hilton Head Island, according to police.
Beaufort County deputies responded to Wild Horse Road shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday to find Hilton Head fire crews giving medical assistance to a motorcyclist “lying in the middle of the roadway,” a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office incident report says.
After speaking with witnesses, police determined the man “was driving his motorcycle recklessly” and struck the vehicle in front of him, resulting in “life-threatening injuries,” the report says…
