The Corpus Christi Police Department says two suspects are in custody following a robbery in progress at Samuels Diamond & Co. on Moore Plaza that was reported early Monday morning.
According to CCPD, the initial call came in at approximately 6:40 a.m., reporting the robbery. Officers later located a suspected vehicle tied to the incident containing two individuals, a driver and a passenger, both of whom fled on foot when police arrived.
One suspect was captured near the Pep Boys area. The second suspect fled toward the freeway and into traffic before being arrested by officers. Police confirmed there were no injuries during the incident…
