CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The mission of Fill With Hope was started back in 2011 by the nonprofit Canyon Hope Ministries, and the organization has been operating as Fill With Hope.
Canyon Hope Ministries started after a group of moms saw the need in the community to feed those at CISD who were not getting any food at home.
“So we provide that food to them over the weekends because during that time they don’t have their breakfast, they don’t have a lunch or a supper time, and it’s a sad reality,” added Cindy Sheets, Executive Director of Fill with Hope. “It is the truth, and we’re just so grateful to be able to give that to them so they can start school on Monday morning ready to go and be refreshed for a new week.”…
