Salvation Army hosts Easter breakfast, service in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Salvation Army in Jackson celebrated Resurrection Sunday with a community breakfast before its Easter service.

The meal included biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, and sausage.

“Behind me are people eating breakfast. We have biscuits and gravy and bacon and egg and sausage. And we just wanted to make sure that everybody got a full belly before we went on. I don’t want anybody taking naps during church, but a full belly before we went in and had our actual church service,” said Major Timothy Delaney…
