SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A man in Springfield charged in the death of Jesus Pacheco, 28, has been sentenced to 24 years in prison after pleading guilty.
Online court records state that Josue Alvardo-Valenzuela, 28, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on April 6, 2026. The state dismissed the armed criminal action charge as part of the plea agreement.
