CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested a man who stole a cash register from a taco stand in west Charlotte and hit a woman with his car while attempting to flee the scene.
Marcus Chisholm, 44, was charged with felony larceny, felony hit and run with serious injury, assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of marijuana after an incident that happened Sunday night.
Chisholm stole a cash register from a taco stand that was set up on Wilkinson Blvd near Berryhill Road around 10:45 p.m., according to an affidavit. He then hit a 21-year-old woman with his car, causing her serious injuries that required hospitalization…
