Man arrested following shelter-in-place order in neighborhood in Greeley Wednesday

GREELEY, Colo. (KKTV) – Police in Greeley arrested a suspect Wednesday after they said he had threatened an individual and fired several shots from his barricaded vehicle, leading to a shelter-in-place order in the neighborhood.

Greeley police said they arrested 54-year-old Rafael Chaparro-Aguirre after officers observed him fire several shots from his vehicle after a pursuit.

Police said they were dispatched about 1:45 p.m. to the 500 block of East 24th Street Road, near Highways 34 and 85, on reports of an armed disturbance…
