Owners of Sioux Falls Intoxibakes made the “difficult decision” to no longer sell their treats in their Downtown Sioux Falls storefront.

What Is Sioux Falls Intoxibakes All About?
Intoxibakes was one of the first South Dakota bakeries to infuse alcohol into its desserts. The bakery created “over 70 alcohol-infused flavors of cupcakes that rotate out during the week, including Mudslide, Amaretto, Daiquiri, Bourbon Maple Bacon, and many more!” These delightful, boozy desserts are making me hungry!
Owners of Intoxibakes added to their menu by purchasing the Candy Cloud Factory and have been selling their sweet, boozy goodies at 701 North Phillips Avenue. Sadly, owners explain in a Facebook post that selling the Intoxibakes desserts “in its current form is no longer financially sustainable.”
Because of this, we’ve made the difficult decision that starting at the end of May, we will no longer be selling our items out of our storefront. However, this is not goodbye! You will still be able to find our treats at Williquors, and we are open to expanding into other locations as well. On a more personal note, our owners have some pretty amazing (and very busy!) kids who are growing up fast. This change will allow us to spend more time with them—something that means the world to us.
But Wait…There’s Some Good News for Intoxibakes
Even though Intoxibakes will no longer be selling items inside the Downtown Sioux Falls shop, treats can be found at more local businesses soon. Any 2026 orders and weddings will be fulfilled! No need to stress.
Plus, cotton candy machines, ice cream, and candy will be added inside the Candy Cloud Factory. One more thing: Candy Cloud Factory will be open seven days a week.
