PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The global furniture giant IKEA is continuing to expand its footprint in the Valley as a new store makes its debut this week.
The third Valley IKEA location will be opening on Wednesday, April 8, at the Village Square II shopping center, near Tatum Boulevard and Cactus Road. The new store will be right across the road from the redevelopment of the former Paradise Valley Mall.
Though the new store will not be as large as its Tempe showroom, guests can still browse through a 75,000 square-foot showroom space. In comparison, IKEA’s warehouse in Tempe is 342,000 square feet.
