Dead dog found inside Middletown home leads to woman facing charge

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WXIX) – A woman is facing an animal cruelty charge after the discovery of a dead dog.

Arica Mazza is charged with cruelty to a companion animal, according to Middletown court records.

The gruesome discovery was made by a worker who was cleaning out a home on Woodlawn Avenue after the previous tenant, Mazza, moved out, the court documents say.
