2 dead, 1 rescued, 1 missing after car crashes through Waterfront Park and into Willamette River

PORTLAND, Ore. — Police are investigating after a car went through Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland, crashed through a barricade and fell into the Willamette River in the early hours of Monday morning.

One person was rescued and two others were found dead, police confirmed early Monday afternoon. The fourth and final occupant of the vehicle is still missing.

All of the occupants were believed to be between the ages of 17 and 20, police said, but said their identities will be withheld until all of their families are notified…
