MORGAN COUNTY, Ala — A single-vehicle crash on Sunday evening has claimed the life of an Eva man after he was thrown from his motorcycle near Hartselle. Dameion H. Shirley, 45, was critically injured when the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R he was operating left the roadway and struck a culvert.
The crash took place on Bean Road near New Center Road, approximately five miles southwest of Hartselle, at around 7:15 p.m. Following the initial impact, Shirley was ejected from the motorcycle.
Emergency responders took Shirley to Hartselle Health Park Hospital in Hartselle, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased…
