Alabama State Route 225 is a 20‑mile highway winding through the rolling, rural hills of North Baldwin County that carries more than just cars.
The highway also passes a wealth of American and Alabama history, much of which may not be known to most everyday users of the roadway. Spanish Fort city and Baldwin County officials now want to connect the road to the patriotic history of some of the landmark sites along the highway.
