AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Wildlife Rescue (AWR) said it was taking care of a baby beaver, otherwise known as a kit, after it was found wandering alone on a sidewalk.
The rescue said it searched for signs of the mother, siblings or other beavers in the area with no luck, so it took the kit in.
“A baby beaver is a true rarity for us, so this fuzzball is an extra special surprise this week,” AWR said…
