JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) hosted its annual Bunnies and Butterflies event on Saturday.
“We have had face painting going on all day by ‘Art by Monet.’ We have activities going on in our exhibition hall where they’re making flower crowns, they’re making bookmarks. We have a live bunny, so we have an opportunity for our guests to paint bunnies. We’ve had an Easter bunny popping around for for a photo ops,” said Monique Ealey, director of Education and Experiences at the MCM.
She said it’s important for children to have hands-on experiences that connect them with the natural world…
