A hearing will be held to determine if a woman should be charged after being accused of abandoning a newborn baby on a sidewalk during below-freezing temperatures last year.
Ava Marie Guerra, 29, was charged with injury to a child in January last year after police said she left her baby on a sidewalk on the East Side on Jan. 21, 2025.
