WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Meteorologist Jake Dunne says it’s another chilly morning across Kansas, though temperatures aren’t as low as they were on Easter morning. Later today looks warmer as highs climb into the lower to middle 70s underneath mostly sunny skies.
Temperatures will trend down a tad, into the upper 60s and lower 70s on Tuesday as a weak cold front moves into and stalls over the state. We will also see gusty winds and a few sprinkles, especially along and north of I-70 but nothing heavy is expected.
After a dry and warm Wednesday with high temperatures in the 70s, the first of several disturbances to impact the state will arrive during the night. Scattered showers over northern Kansas will blossom into thunderstorms over the rest of the state on Thursday…
