The Road Ahead: Biggest Little Bike Network

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A transformational project is coming to downtown Reno later this year. The idea is to make walking and biking safer and more comfortable from the University of Nevada all the way to Midtown. The Biggest Little Bike Network project will bring upgrades to 4 downtown corridors, including Virginia Street, 5th Street, Vine Street as well as Lake street, Evans Avenue and Sinclair Street.

“We’re filling a really big hole in our bike map right now right in the heart of downtown Reno. So, the project is going to retrofit four streets in downtown Reno to make them safer, more comfortable for bicyclists and E-scooters, which is a huge growing mode of transportation in our region,” said Project Manager Sara Going.
