GREEN BAY and MARINETTE, Wis. (WBAY) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region will conduct routine maintenance and inspections of lift bridges in Green Bay and Marinette next week.
Green Bay bridge closures
The Bart Starr Memorial Bridge on Walnut Street over the Fox River will be fully closed Monday, April 13, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. for inspection and routine maintenance.
- The bridge will be closed east of the Fox River on East Walnut Street at Washington Street and west of the Fox River on West Walnut Street at Broadway.
- The detour is North Broadway, Dousman Street, Main Street and North Monroe Avenue.
The Donald A. Tilleman Memorial Bridge on Mason Street over the Fox River will be fully closed Tuesday, April 14, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. for inspection, routine maintenance and concrete patching.
- The bridge will be closed east of the Fox River on East Mason Street at South Monroe Avenue and west of the Fox River on West Mason Street at South Ashland Avenue.
- The detour is South Ashland Avenue, Walnut Street and South Monroe Avenue.
On Wednesday, April 15, the Donald A. Tilleman Memorial Bridge will have outside lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Lane closures will allow a reach-all truck to extend underneath the bridge from the bridge deck to wash the bridge.
Marinette bridge closure
The Ogden Street Bridge in Marinette will be fully closed Thursday, April 16, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for routine inspection and maintenance.
All bridges are safe to travel. Motorists may see bridge inspectors, inspection equipment and drones. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained.
