Longtime Republic Police Chief passes away

REPUBLIC, Mo. — The Republic Police Department announced that former Chief of Police Mark Lowe died last week, sending condolences to his family and friends.

The department announced that Lowe died in Florida last week, stating that he served the Republic community for over a decade from April 2002, to January 2015, retiring in 2015.

In his career, he also served as a Board Member for the Greene County 911 Advisory Board. His LinkedIn indicates that he had also been an adjunct faculty member at East Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.
