Upcoming maintenance to close part of Russell Road in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany Water Department announced the upcoming closure of part of Russell Road. The closure will take place April 8 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Russell Road will be closed between Pleasantview Avenue and Berkshire Boulevard on Wednesday while crews conduct an emergency repair on a catch basin in the vicinity and address an adjacent sinkhole. King Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue, and Vine Street will still be accessible to local traffic and emergency services from the Berkshire Boulevard side while road work is underway.
