Huntington National Bank selected as University of Michigan’s official consumer bank

ANN ARBOR, MI — The University of Michigan has chosen Huntington National Bank as its official consumer bank, bringing banking services and financial benefits to more than 100,000 students, faculty, and staff at the Ann Arbor campus, according to an April 6 University Record update.

The partnership will provide financial support for student scholarships and student organizations, along with internship opportunities and access to the bank’s RISE program, which introduces students to careers in financial services.

Members of the university community can link their MCard identification card to a Huntington checking account, allowing the card to function as a debit card. The agreement also brings interest-bearing checking accounts with no monthly maintenance fees, discounts on mortgage closing costs, and six ATMs placed across campus…
