Jamaican restaurant coming to Allentown

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A new Jamaican restaurant in Allentown will officially open its doors later this month with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Chef BigWayne Jamaican Cuisine will have its grand opening on Thursday, April 23. The restaurant at 242 Allen St. is locally owned and family operated by Brianna Burt and Chef Dwayne “BigWayne” Jones.

“Opening our own restaurant is a dream come true,” Jones said in a press release. “We are excited to bring authentic Jamaican food, culture, and a sense of community to Buffalo.
