Judge orders no bond for suspect in deadly shooting on front porch of Birmingham home

A 39-year-old charged in the shooting death of another man on the front porch of a Birmingham home will remain jailed, a Jefferson County judge ruled Monday.

Jimmy Demond Hollis is charged with murder in the March 31 shooting death of 45-year-old Derrick Antonio Blackmon in the city’s Titusville community.
