Under a new ownership group, The Casual Pint of Chapel Hill will reopen at its former location at 201 South Elliott Road. The ownership trio of Scott Huskin, Jason Dettman and Dave Vannier made the news official in a release Monday morning. The group is targeting May 1, 2026 as its official reopening date.
“We know how much this location meant to the local community, and we couldn’t let that legacy end,” Huskin said. “Our goal is to bring back everything people loved about this spot, but with the added stability and resources of an experienced leadership team. At the end of the day, we want to ensure that this remains the place where everybody knows your name.”
The owners say the final timeline “may adjust slightly” as final logistical and operational details are set up. The trio of Huskin, Dettman and Vannier also own another Casual Pint location in Arizona…
