GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro police are investigating a Friday night crash that left a teen driver dead.
According to a news release, at around 7:09 p.m., officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle parked at the Refuel gas station in the 2400 block of East Market Street.

The driver ignored the officers’ commands before speeding away, which is when a female fell out of the passenger side and onto the pavement.
Officers attempted to pursue the vehicle and found it had crashed in the 1200 block of Rankin Road. The driver was thrown from the vehicle during the crash.
The teen was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment, but they died due to their injuries…
