NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — Multiple Nassau County schools were placed on secure holds Monday afternoon after an anonymous bomb threat was made, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO).
The threat directed at Callahan Middle and Callahan Intermediate schools came in at approximately 2:59 p.m., an agency spokesperson told First Coast News. Callahan Middle and the nearby West Nassau High School were placed on secure hold as a precaution. NCSO clarified that Callahan Intermediate had already dismissed for the day, so no secure hold occurred.
“Law enforcement conducted a thorough investigation and determined that no credible threat was found.
