MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – According to police, an Amazon delivery driver was robbed while on the job.
On March 29, a Madison County officer responded to a call about a stolen phone. Hollenbeck says he was met by an Amazon delivery driver, who was crying as he recounted his experience.
The driver told police that he was following his GPS to deliver a package. While he was there, he says an angry man approached him, hitting his delivery vehicle with his fists.
Officer Hollenbeck says the driver first attempted to drive away, but stopped to show the man the GPS directions that led him there. The man, later identified as 71-year-old William Farthing, violently grabbed the phone from the driver’s hand, police say…
