RICHMOND, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Madison County sheriff’s deputy met a tearful Amazon driver on a Sunday in late March after a reportedly irate man stole the cellphone the driver was using for directions.
The incident happened March 29, according to court documents.

The delivery driver was working in the 500 block of Phelps Road in Richmond, the documents state. A criminal complaint said he was attempting to make a delivery on Phelps Road when the GPS directed him to turn into the driveway of a home nearby.
Court documents allege the homeowner, William Farthing, became “very angry” and punched the delivery vehicle. When the driver showed Farthing the GPS directions, Farthing allegedly grabbed the Amazon-issued cellphone…
