Police tase man after borough council meeting in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Officers tased a New Freedom man during a borough council meeting, claiming he resisted arrest after causing a scene.

Devin Taylor, 33, called police during a New Freedom Borough Council meeting Oct. 20, 2025, and when officers asked what the problem was, Taylor reportedly answered, “the entire council,” according to charging documents.
