New restaurants opening in Memphis? Check out these 6 spots

Memphis’ dining scene has a bright future.

There’s always something to look forward to when it comes to new food in Memphis, and 2026 is no exception. From new bars and breakfast spots to a Railgarten successor, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Here is a look at six restaurants set to open this year in the Bluff City.

Dog & Bone

An English pub, Dog & Bone, will be moving into 2116 Madison Ave., the former Robata Ramen and Yakitori Bar site near Overton Square. Co-owner Steve Minter said there is no fixed opening date yet, but summer 2026 is the tentative target. Minter said the food and beverage menus will feature a hybrid of American and British fare, with additional European options on the beverage and cocktail side. Additionally, the restaurant will have an outdoor patio area for guests.

Second Line

Second Line is set to open in its new East Memphis location at 4550 Poplar Ave. this week, according to owner Kelly English. Second Line was previously located at 2144 Monroe Ave. until last New Year’s Eve, when it closed ahead of the move…
