ROCHESTER N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester has recorded two homicides so far this year, down from nine during the same period in 2025, according to data from the Rochester Police Department’s open data portal.
Mayor Malik Evans said the drop is a sign the city’s violence prevention efforts are making an impact.
