A motorist is under arrest after a shooting Monday on westbound Interstate 80 in West Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol .
Just after 2:15 p.m., a driver shot one round at another driver as both were headed west on the interstate, just west of Reed Avenue, CHP Officer Rodney Fitzhugh said. The bullet struck the victim’s vehicle but not the victim.
The suspected shooter exited the freeway into West Sacramento and the victim followed, calling 911 as they drove south onto Jefferson Boulevard. Eventually the first vehicle stopped south of Burrows Avenue, Fitzhugh said…
