ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Biltmore started a preservation project on the estate’s historic Lodge Gate entrance in March, following damage from Hurricane Helene and years of wear.
Crews are repairing the roof, restoring brickwork, and making interior improvements to keep the structure watertight, according to Biltmore’s statement.
The gate remains open, but traffic is being rerouted around it during construction…
