NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC — The Fitch Falcons softball team used big bats and unparalleled focus to come roaring back from early miscues to defeat the Horseheads Blue Raiders 13-3 on Monday morning.
Fitch grabbed an early lead when Kalian Ray led off the bottom of the first inning with a perfectly placed ball in the coffin corner of left field to race around the bases and score off an inside the park home run, giving the Falcons an early 1-0 edge.
