Disabled Florida Handyman Fined Over Work Truck Parking as City Code Dispute Grows

BOYNTON BEACH, Florida — A disabled handyman in South Florida says he’s being unfairly targeted after being fined for parking his work truck in his own driveway—an issue that is now escalating into a broader dispute over local regulations.

Bali Ramnarace, a single father living in Boynton Beach, was issued a $345 fine by the city for keeping his 10-foot commercial box truck on his residential property. Officials say the vehicle violates municipal code restrictions on larger vehicles in residential areas.

The situation could worsen, as Ramnarace now faces additional $75 monthly fines if the truck remains on his driveway.

“It’s ridiculous what they’re doing to people. People make a living by this,” he said.
