JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Construction is still underway on a new detention center in Hinds County. The new facility is located off of McDowell Road.
Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the Raymond Detention Center continues to face decades-long challenges, and the new facility is essential.
