LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Capital Humane Society has been awarded a $6,500 Rachael Ray Save Them All grant from Best Friends Animal Society, a leading national animal welfare organization working to save cats and dogs in America’s shelters.
The grant supports lifesaving in Lincoln through shelter intake diversion programming. By removing economic barriers for pet owners, Capital Humane Society aims to divert 66 cat and dog surrenders from their Admissions & Assessment Center.
