Police: Charlotte tried to set one person on fire, hit another with a frying pan

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Police documents shed new light on what may have happened when a NoDa home was set on fire, and a woman was hit with a frying pan.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were called out around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3, to a home on Herrin Avenue in Charlotteโ€™s NoDa neighborhood.

According to police, Aleksandros Soutzos had been staying at the home with another man, who was receiving chemotherapy at the time. The man allegedly told Soutzos and his girlfriend to stay outside, which police said started an argument…
