Faithful dog faces shelter after owner placed in hospice

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis animal rescue group is asking for help finding a new home for an adult dog after its owner was placed in hospice care with stage 4 cancer.

All 4s Dog Rescue League says the six-year-old dog is losing the only family he’s known for six years and could end up at the West Memphis Animal Shelter if someone doesn’t step up to adopt or foster him.

All 4s said Little Daddy is scheduled to go to the shelter on Tuesday. They say he is good with other dogs and wants to be a couch buddy.

“This is already very sad for him; the shelter environment is not going to help,” said All 4s Dog Rescue League.
