RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is releasing new details regarding an incident in Sun Valley on Saturday, April 4.
According to a post on the agency’s social media page, patrol deputies responded to the 300 block of Brownlee Lane in Sun Valley for a reported shooting around 7:45 p.m. and found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that the suspect, 68-year-old Kenneth Messerli, 68, lived at the same home as the victim in Sun Valley. Messerli reportedly stayed on scene during the investigation…
