One person is dead following a single vehicle crash on Interstate 80.
Illinois State Police say the crash happened around 2:45pm when a single vehicle lost control and struck a construction barrier in the eastbound lanes on the Des Plaines River Bridge.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported…
