A Wichita woman who was arrested after deputies found 115,000 fentanyl pills and more than 4,000 grams of meth in her car was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Mana Elena Reyes, 51, was sentenced to 240 months for felony possession with intent to distribute after having several conservations about buying and selling fentanyl with an undercover officer with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office in 2023, a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas read.
Sometime in April or May 2023, Reyes drove from Kansas to Oklahoma and back while deputies with the Sheriff’s Office and Kansas Highway Patrol followed her, the press release said. The KHP conducted a traffic stop when she returned to Kansas, and they found “approximately 115,000 fentanyl pills and more than 4,000 grams of methamphetamine along with heroin, fentanyl powder, and cocaine,” the release said…
